1. Sooji: 1 Cup 2. Ghee (Clarified butter): 3 Tablespoon Substitute: Vegetable Oil. 3. Whole milk warm: 3 Cups 4. Sugar: 3/4 Cup 5. Heavy Whipping Cream: 1 Cup 6. Kewra: 1/2 Tablespoon Substitute: Vanilla extract 7. Pistachio pieces 1/4 Cup
Step 1: In a heavy pan, melt Ghee. add farina. Fry farina till it is lightly brown. Add Items 1, 2, 3. Bring to boil. Simmer 15 minutes Step 2: Add milk and sugar. Simmer about 15 minutes Step 3: Add Sugar. Simmer 10 minutes. Step 4: Add Cream. Simmer 5 minutes. Step 5: Turn off heat. Add items 6 and 7. Let stand to cool. Refrigerate and serve.
